On Saturday 5 June, 7:30pm Alistair Barrie will be hosting another side-splitting evening with comedians Carl Donnelly and Dane Baptiste.
About Alistair Barrie…
Alistair Barrie is one of the top headliners on the international comedy circuit. He has performed in over 40 countries including acclaimed performances in Australia, Cape Town, Mumbai, New Zealand and the legendary Comedy Cellar in New York. He is a regular at London’s world-famous Comedy Store and a core member of their weekly topical ‘Cutting Edge’ team.
He has made countless appearances at UK music festivals including Glastonbury, Latitude, Bestival and Green Man and taken several solo shows to The Edinburgh Festival. His 2013 and 2015 shows were nominated for ‘Best Show at The Fringe’ with the latter transferring to London for a run at The Soho Theatre, and he was runner-up in the 2015 English Comedian of the Year. His latest show, ‘The InternationAL’ premiered at the 2018 Melbourne Festival and went on to Edinburgh where it received a highly coveted five-star review from The Scotsman, before selling out its entire run at The 2019 New Zealand International Comedy Festival.

About Carl Donnelly…
Carl is a stand-up comedian who have been nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award twice, appeared on a selection of TV shows (Mock The Week, Russell Howard’s Good News etc) and travelled the world having performed at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, The Melbourne International Comedy Festival and The New Zealand Comedy Festival. In 2017, Carl and his podcast partner Chris Martin started a spin off podcast called ‘Babysitting Trevor’ which has since gone on to be runner up in the 2018 British Podcast Awards ‘Best Comedy Podcast’ category.
About Dane Baptiste…
Dane is a stand-up comedian, writer and presenter. Original and provocative, Baptiste is hailed as one of the most exciting acts to break in years. The London born stand up made comedy history in 2014 as the first Black British act to be nominated for a comedy award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for his debut stand up show Citizen Dane. His extensive TV credits include Live at the Apollo (BBC Two), Mock the Week (BBC Two), 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2), Black, British and Funny (Channel 4), Frankie Boyle’s New World Order (BBC Two), Roast Battle (Comedy Central), Comedians Giving Lectures (Dave), Hypothetical (Dave), Tonight at the London Palladium (ITV1), Live from the BBC (BBC Three), Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled (Dave), Comedians Solve World Problems (Comedy Central) and more. He has also hosted Live At The Apollo (BBC Two), Live from the Comedy Store (Comedy Central) and created, wrote and starred in his own sitcom Sunny D (BBC Three/One), which was the first black sitcom commissioned by the BBC in 20 years and is now being reformatted for US markets.
