WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT
Splashmob was founded in 2012 when members of “arty sexy party” Kinky Salon London invaded naturist sauna Rio’s dressed in silly costumes.
In 2020 the social water party experience went online, with a Virtual Splashmob direct from performers’ bathrooms (guests can watch from anywhere, and we had folk tuning in from their living rooms, showers, bathrooms, paddling pools and even a sauna!)
Our fully self-isolated, water-loving host APRIL FIASCO broadcasts to you from her party bathtub, guiding you through a full night of wonderful water-based fun.
Throughout the night you’ll be drenched in music, cabaret, drag, sexy shower dances and interactive games.
All ticketholders get sent a link to our Splashmob Whatsapp group where you can speak to past & present Splashmobbers and ask questions of the organisers!

One ticket per device, any number of self-isolated flatmates welcome!
Doing this in the online space is a new endeavour with us; programming elements / performers may change as the concept develops.
No refunds, transfers or exchanges permitted.
You may not resell or pass on your place; our admins may boot any guest found doing that.
If our admin believes you’re in any way being disrespectful you may be booted off.
A wi-fi internet connection and a laptop, tablet or phone with headphones or a working speaker; plus some lighting in your room / bathroom.
Over 18s only. You must show your face on screen as guests are part of the event and it’s not one for lurkers/voyeurs.
We encourage playfulness in the bathroom, but no close-up full frontal nudity, no groping, erotic self-touch or sex as these are against the Zoom terms and we want to keep it welcoming for all.
Entering into the splashy spirit is encouraged…but will welcome people wherever they are and however they’re dressed (with clothes)!
We realise not everyone is in a location with access to costumes and decor etc. If your tech allows, use an appropriate Zoom digital backdrop https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/210707503-Virtual-Background …
If you fancy, ddress up in a water / nautical theme and/or have your room decorated in theme.
IS MY DEVICE SAFE
Reports from our previous guests suggest that most laptops, phones and tablets will survive fine in a bathroom as long as you don’t drop ‘em in the water or allow the room to become filled with steam. We recommend you put it out of harm’s way. If you’re mega cautious there are waterproof sleeves you can buy. Don’t bring any power cord into your bathroom
IS THE EVENT SAFER?
Splashmob is a queer-friendly, body-positive, consent-aware, anti-racist event. If our admins find you being disrespectful, sexist, transphobic, homophobic, racist, ableist, sizist, lewd or not visible for extensive periods of time you may be banned without refund.
All guests should be aware that, like any web video meeting, guests or organisers may screenshot or record the stream. We advise against anything that may be illegal, against the terms of the video platform or simply embarrassing. We do not condone sharing anyone’s recognisable identity without permission and we will gain your consent before sharing your face.
