Storytelling Week: Celtic Tales

28 January @ 9:30 am

£35 – £60

Celebrate National Storytelling Week, by stepping into the fantasy world of Celtic Tales, mythical creatures and playtime with fellow foes

For National Storytelling Week, Ways of the Wild will take you on a journey from listening to stories to becoming young storytellers yourselves.

Storytelling is at the root of every art form: we think in story form, make sense of our world in narrative – from something we’ve seen, through last night’s television, to what family and folk stories we remember and retell. Performance storytelling can be a powerful experience, both entertaining and moving. Story is also the traditional medium of communication from generation to generation, a tool for education and therapy.

What better way to transport us to the fantastical world of Celtic folklore. Celtic tales often have fairies, elves, giants, goblins, and other magical beings. The stories often depict heroics, adventure and romance, we’ll bring these themes to life!

More adventures include…

*Celtic Tales

*Woodcraft Fairy Door & Mushroom Carving

*Celtic Songs & Dance

*Storytelling
