Rugby World Cup London Battersea Power Station Fan Zone Open

Can’t make it to Bristol for the Rugby World Cup semi-finals? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! Join us at the London Battersea Power Station Fan Zone this weekend to catch all the action live on the big screen. Expect an electric atmosphere, entertainment and fun for all ages!

At Friday 7pm BST, two of the world’s best rugby sides are going head-to-head. Canada, ranked second in the world, and New Zealand, ranked third, will battle it out for a place in the final — before hosts England play France at 3.30pm BST on Saturday.

Everything so far suggests we could see a repeat of the 2021 Rugby World Cup final when New Zealand beat the Red Roses in dramatic fashion 34-31. Canada, however, are experienced on the world stage and reached the final themselves in 2014 and 2017.

If you’re unable to make it to Bristol, you’ll be able to catch both semi-finals on a live screening at the London Battersea Power Station Fan Zone! With large screens broadcasting rugby’s greatest players – including the likes of Canada’s Sophie de Goede, New Zealand’s Portia Woodman-Wickliffe and Red Roses’ Ellie Kildunne – you’ll also be able to grab food, drink and snacks from local food vendors and independent bar operators.

Situated in a prime location in the capital city, it’s something you can’t miss out on. Alongside the live screenings, additional activities will include partner engagements, sports taster sessions, and roaming entertainment, helping maintain an energetic, family-friendly atmosphere throughout the two-week run.

The Women’s Rugby World Cup has already proven to be a generational moment for women’s rugby as the biggest-ever global celebration. More than 400,000 tickets have already been sold, with matches across the country sold-out.
