Looking for something new, adventurous and social for your daughter to do? Why not try Girlguiding?
Our weekly meetings have supported the wellbeing of hundreds of girls across Wandsworth in the last few years. Parents tell us that during the lockdown the contact with friends, positive activities and engagement with something away from school has made a real difference to their daughters.
‘Brownies has been an amazing experience for both our daughters to connect with adults and peers outside of the school and family’ Mum of 7 year old Brownie in Tooting
As restrictions ease we’re starting to meet face to face again. Our meetings follow Covid-Safe procedures and meet in local community venues across the borough.
Girlguiding is a safe place for all girls aged 5 to 18 to have fun and be empowered. We’re a unique organisation and we help our girls try new things, develop new passions and make friends.
Across the borough we have 92 groups across our age groups – Rainbows aged 5 – 7, Brownies aged 7 – 10 yrs, Guides aged 10 – 14 yrs and Rangers aged 14- 18 where your daughter can join.
If you are looking for somewhere to build your skills and meet new people there are also volunteer places helping with groups or supporting the administration behind the scenes. Volunteering has shown to increase mental wellbeing and we pride ourselves on the positive welcoming experience you will have if you want to try us out.
